Template Contract - $200

Greetings and thank you for taking the time to read our project profile.

We will soon be releasing a new Video Tube Project, which will be running The Adult Video Script. What we require, is a completely unique template, separating it from the hourds of others using the same one. This will require a template/theme rewrite. We desire a look and feel similar to other, sucessful adult tube sites, but with unique buttons and logos for most every image on the script.The install is fresh - We will give you all of the template files necessary for alteration.

In other words, your primary task will be to write a quality, professional, unique template to function perfectly within our Adult Video Script template system. The primary objective is to get a unique tube site, focusing in on the aspects of our niche ( to be unveiled within further PM correspondences). This new style should contain unique and sharp button graphics and images such as is specified by our team during the tenure of this partnership.


A primary and excellent knowledge of the systems mentioned herein (PHP/Template Rewrites) and of the English Language is a must.

$200 offer is ridicilous for such project.

If you can count, this is:
- over 70 templates
- huge css stylesheet (if not multiple stylesheets)
- possibly dozens of php files to code/update
- many other smaller files to code/update

and that's only coding part.
Before it - a lot of graphics related jobs.

If template really unique - usually takes minimum 4 weeks to develope.
And $200 is like 1 day of profesional coder/designer's job.
I'm not sure if you find anyone even if you add one more "0" to your offer.

That's my opinion. And as I never take template related jobs, it's honest one.
It's not my business to persuade or discourage anyone.

Each one of my prior experiences in the realm of hiring freelancers would speak directly to the contrary, Mr. Dargre. In fact, I've found that there are so many out there, it is only just a matter of simply spreading the word.

What I am asking for is surely worth $200.00 USD, as it will be little more than an improved version of several other template modifications selling at $70.00 here on the Forum. Our price is more than double that and hence, should be considered. Having said that, I think you might have misunderstood. The above project description encompasses no more than a $200 limit. (i.e - Our limit (200) - should indicate what is within the realm of possibility). Obviously we are not contracting a $800.00 rewrite.

For a slight template modification, it's a fair price.
For a complete redesign, with a whole new CSS/XHTML, it's way low.

Remember Folks,

The Project will remain open for your bid on Freelancer from now, until a day proceeding (after) the release of version 2.0 of the Script.
After that time, we will then choose a bidder for the project. The maximum bid is $250 for a slight modification of the original stock template.

yeah I just redid the templates on my site and it took me about 3 or 4 weeks to get everything flushed out. Not to mention that you have to test cross browsers, this is a ripoff

i know a few people from freelancer that would jump on this in a heart beat. if you look in the right places you will get it dun even cheaper.
