it seems to work on http://www.poonplanet.com/mobile

Is the config file set to the right location for the test you uploaded?

is my actual site i did a test site with avs 2.0 before i just put it on my site i discovered citrex wasnt up to date now they have updated everything but still testing to see if it solved the problems . as far as this iphone thing on my test site i followed the documentation and everything and installed everything just as i did before on my riginal site. it says that the mobile is found at yoursite.com/mobile that was why i asked if there is a problem due to my test site being on a subdirectory. because yoursite.com/mobile would be my original site not my test site

ok this is what i had to do to fix the issue i think but im not sure what it might do to the rest of iphone anyway it started to work

went into
public_html/test/siteadmin/modules/index/iphone.php

and found:

if(file_exists($chk_file) && $config['mobile_template'] != '')

remove
&& $config['mobile_template']

i am not sure why it couldnt find the mobile_template, this is weird . maybe i have it set up wrong

anyway now you can see it working at

If you followed the instructions when you installed the iPhone module, $config['mobile_template'] should not be empty...

Maybe your template dir is not allowing access. Check chmod.

Most likely you have $config['mobile_template'] duplicated in config.local.php (once empty from the AVS 2.0 distribution, and second, the one that you added when you installed Mobile Module). There is a misunderstanding in the Instructions I think...you need to replace that variable not add it again...

If you have the above problem, do the following:

Edit /include/config.local.php

Find $config['mobile_template']

-
if you find it twice in the code, remove the instance when it has no value ($config['mobile_template'] = ''; )
- if you find it only once, and with no value ($config['mobile_template'] = ''; ) change it to $config['mobile_template'] = 'mobile_default';

$config['mobile_template'] = 'mobile_default';

Then it should have worked fine...without removing
$config['mobile_template']!=''

I had the same issue and found it was a configuration issue. I updated the 'config.local.php" file and it worked fine. I think the best way to resolve this issue is to re-word the modification part of the instructions so people know exactly what to do. So say something like if the following setting appear in your config file then set the values to this, and if they dont appear then add these line above this point.
