I have a dedicated server with them.

From my understanding, Flash Media Server Hosting licenses are too costly for a site that is going to have a bunch of people using this feature. i think they give you like 5 connections free then you have to start paying for more connections, various licensing. if you only have a few on your site going to use it then it should be ok. but say you have 50k users and you think 500 of them might be trying to use this, without paying big $$ they will all not be able to do this.

with red5 however its free and open source so there is no limits others that your servers capability. dont quote me on this tho, as i have very little experience with FMS so they may have restructures their licensing.

Hi,

I bought and installed this script on an Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) with red5.

Now I'm getting errors that are related to crossdomain.xml.

The problem is that some browsers convert the URL to native language and some don't and keep it as Unicode.

When you go to http://xn--mebar.com chrome does not convert it to the special characters (Hebrew), it keeps it like that which is why the broadcast works.

IE and firefox do convert it which is why it does not load there since it is loading files from two different domains now which flash does not allow.

The native form of the domain and the Unicode are the same domain, but Flash regards it as 2 different domains!

<allow-access-from domain="*" />
That will allow any domain to connect, but it still does not work!

For some reason content of the crossdomain.xml does not make a differnce.
location is on the root of the domain.

Anyone had any problems with crossdomains errors in the past?

Thanks!

Can you please add the cam script to my client file manager page? I've requested it to be added via the help desk and nothing yet.

Thanks.

We don't code the integration, the plugin developers (VideoWhisper) code it. So when they have it ready...it is up to them...
