Hi,

I ordered hosting from Cirtex because you recommended this here:
http://forums.adultv...hread.php?t=401
http://www.adultvide...rvices/hosting/

I bought the Basic package and installed the AVS script. Now, when i visit the System Check on my site, i get this:

Maximum Upload Filesize 16M (max_upload_filesize)
Maximum Post Filesize 8M (max_post_size)
FLVTool2 missing (/usr/bin/flvtool2)
Mediainfo missing (/usr/bin/mediainfo)
MP4Box missing (/usr/bin/MP4Box)
NeroAacEnc missing (/usr/bin/neroAacEnc)

So why do you recommended a host that is not compatible with AVS? And where can i find a host in the same price range that does work with AVS?

It's not your hosting company, it's your server configurations.

AVS will work on any Linux server that has the required modules and configurations.

You need to install the missing modules on your server and update the php configurations.

On a separate note, I would avoid Cirtex AT ALL COSTS!

I'm sure many others would agree.

Or, you can find out the hard way as to why so many other people have had problems with them.

Yes i know that. But installing missing modules and changing php configurations is not possible on a shared hosting account. So why do AVS recommend a hosting solution that is not compatible with AVS? That is just annoying.

Most of video scripts do that and it's because of the money.
You have million advertisements around you, on internet, radio newspaper, tv. But this doesn't mean that you should trust it.

I'll write what I've repeated hundreds times already: do not take any hosting that offers ffmpeg, mplayer, etc. preinstalled. This is just easy trick to catch more naive clients. Serious hosting companies do not do that.
