This is exactly why I am talking about in regards to Flash being outdated for video streaming! Time to move to a configuration that allows the AVS script to play videos in browser on mobile devices. Change the default video format to mp4 and use a proper player for such. No more money grab with a "mobile plug-in".

Mega Prev, when do you stop posting your bullshit requests?

Flash is in use by all major video websites and this will not change so fast.

Mobile plugin is required to convert videos for proper video mobile format, which is not useful on desktop browsers (low quality).

Looks like you know nothing about video formats and html5 playback.

Hi everyone.

- What does need to be changed (in the .htaccess I suppose) in order for the Mobile version navigation within pages to work properly if the user is in the YOURDOMAIN/mobile ? It works perfect if in WWW.yourdomain/mobile

- And how to properly integrate mobile popunder / redirects ads both in the pages and in the links?

***

nevermind, fixed it.

AVS has already 2 different conversions to MP4 (one for HD and one for Mobile). You don't need to purchase the Mobile Module to have the Mobile Video Conversion feature. That is included with the standard script. Mobile Module is ONLY the mobile interface (template). You can convert the videos to Mobile MP4 with the standard script, and integrate a HTML5 player on the site. You obviously don't know what you are talking about and you are misleading people with false statements.

This is correct what Admin says.

But seems all frustration of xtnd user is his not understanding that html5 playback is useful only for mobile devices.

It's not useful for desktop playback. Mobile video is usually of much lower quality than for desktop, not acceptable quality on big monitors.

HTML5 player is also not as functional as flash player. HTML5 also cannot stream through rtmp protocol.

That's why all major websites (also those AVS based) still use flash players if only flash is supported by browser.

Talking that flash is outdated is just piece of nonsense.

I am not frustrated about anything. You got me confused with the starter of the thread.

about mobile users tablet users and pc users there is a good thing:

foundation.zurb.com

only one theme can be made to make all these devices work . so there will be no need for any seperate versions like now it is.
